摘要

These commercial plastic dental filling liquids – Fastcrown, Kadon, and Replica, which minimally contain monomeric resin, inhibitor, and promoter – and on noncommercial promoter-free liquid, which contained only monomeric resin and inhibitor, were placed in ethylene dichloride solution and exposed to long and short-wave ultraviolet radiation. Promoter-free liquid did not show any significant differences in absorption in the visible or near ultraviolet spectrum, whereas the opposite was true for p-Jimethyl toluidine, indicating that the promoter was necessary to initiate color change.
