摘要

We evaluated the efficacy of translocation to control an urban white-tailed deer (Odocoileus virgnianus) population in Town and Country (TC), Missouri. Captured deer (n=80) were fitted with radio transmitters and translocated approximately 160 km to Huzzah Conservation Area (HC) in south-central Missouri. Released deer were monitored on a 20-hour sampling regime for 1 year.
