This report describes, interprets, and summarizes the results of an archeologicalsurvey of Natural Bridges National Monument. A total of 488 archeological sites were identified within a 2,877 ha area. Chapter 1 describes the goals and organization of the project; Chapter 2 summarizes the modern environment; and Chapter 3 provides an overview of area culture history, and previous cultural resource goals, while Chapter 5 synopsizes the field data. Chapters 6 and 7 present descriptive and functional site typologies, and discuss the architectural and non-architectural features found at the sites. Chapters 8 and 9 present detailed analyses of the ceramic and lithic artifacts recorded. Chapter 10 presents a chronological and cultural affiliation analysis, and Chapter 11 discusses settlement and subsistence over time. Chapter 12 presents management related observations and recommendations. Chapter 13 summarizes the overall results of the study.
