摘要

Four bridge decks were overlayed and patched and one bridge peir was patched211u001eusing concrete with and without corrosion-inhibiting admixtures. Some concrete 211u001esurfaces received topically applied corrosion-inhibiting treatments prior to 211u001eplacement of the concrete. The repairs were successfully completed, and the 211u001einitial conditions of the repairs is good. Corrosion probes were installed in 211u001emany of the repairs, and measurements are being made each quarter to determine 211u001emacronell current, macrocell potential, and resistance. The probes indicate that 211u001ecorrosion is occurring in repairs done with and without corrosion-inhibiting 211u001etreatments. No conclusions can be can be drawn at this time, and the study will 211u001econtinue for a total of 5 years.
