This volume describes the results of environmental and bioarchaeological studies conducted for the Ute Mountain Ute Irrigated Lands Archaeological Project (UMUILAP) during five field seasons of excavation at 43 Puebloan sites. A total of 36 pithouses or kivas, 37 pitrooms, 30 surface structures (68 rooms and 2 towers), and 17 middens were excavated at 17 Puebloan habitation sites during the project. In addition, limited Phase 1 data recovery was conducted at five other Puebloan habitation sites and 20 limited activity sites. A total of over 24 months of fieldwork were conducted by Soil Systems, Inc. (SSI) during the project, totaling more than 60 person years of investigation.
