摘要

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is investigating the coke211u001emaking industry to characterize hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) emitted from coke 211u001eoven pushing operations and combustion (underfire) stacks. This test report 211u001eaddresses pushing emissions from a coke oven and emissions from the combustion 211u001e(underfire) stack that serves coke Battery No. 2 at Bethlehem Steel Corporation's 211u001eBurns Harbor Division in Chesterton, Indiana. The purpose of this test program 211u001ewas to quantify emissions from the inlet and outlet of the baghouse that controls 211u001epushing emissions and to quantify emissions from the combustion stack outlet. The 211u001edata may be used by EPA in the future to support a residual risk assessment for 211u001ecoke oven facilities. This is Appendix D.
