The administration of information in large organizations is often perceived as a211u001ecomplex and significant problem. Recent advances in modern information technology 211u001ehave raised hopes of a more efficient and accurate administration of information, 211u001ebut these hopes are often very vaguely formulated. In reality, a number of 211u001etechnical solutions for communication support have been developed more or less 211u001eindependently of one another, each attempting to solve some aspect of the problem 211u001eof information administration. Communication within a socially constructed 211u001esystem, such as a defense system, is basically a human process of integration, 211u001eand technical applications do not automatically correspond to actual human needs 211u001eregarding communication. An efficient adaptation of new technical communication 211u001esystems would require a definition of which human communication needs it will 211u001esupport. It is possible to identify at least five basic strategies underlying 211u001emodern communication systems all of them supporting different aspects of human 211u001ecommunication.
