This conference brought together scientists and resource managers from211u001egovernment, universities, and private organizations in the United States and 211u001eMexico. In a continuing international forum, participants exchanged information 211u001eon existing or potential cooperative projects, agency functions and programs, and 211u001eissues were concerning natural and cultural resource management in the border 211u001estates. The sessions addressed; ecotourism, recreation and partnerships, wildlife 211u001ebiology and management, wetlands and watersheds, flora and vegetation, 211u001eenvironmental education, cultural resources; water resources, fisheries, and 211u001eprotection and conservation. These proceedings contain 26 papers and abstracts, 211u001eusually in English and Spanish, for the other presentations.
