This working paper is related to a study of competitiveness which has been inprogress during the years 1996-1997. The capital investment markets deal with design, implementation, services, and life-cycle aspects of investments in the utilization of natural resources, energy supply, telecommunications, transportation, other infrastructure, manufacturing, and general building concerns. The 'Porterian' industrial cluster, related to the targeted domestic and/or foreign capital investment markets, consists of investors and investing conditions, competing companies which satisfy these capital investment needs with their technologies, systems, products and services, as well as production factor conditions and synergic industries.
