摘要

The paper solves the allocation problem for a two-sided firm which is composed oftwo divisions, namely a management division and a production division. The allocation problem is solved by using two approaches. The first approach is fully based on the standard 2-person bargaining principle, applied to appropriately chosen pairwise-bargained consistent allocation. The second approach to the allocation problem is fully based on game-theoretic notions like the core and the prekernel of the corresponding transferable utility game. In summary, both approaches, although they are taken from two different fields, support each other in that they provide the same solution to the allocation problem the two-sided firm is dealing with.
