摘要

Reservoir 'A' Dam is a major feature of the Lewiston Orchards Project locatedapproximately 7 miles southeast of Lewiston, Idaho. The dam was orginally constructed private interests early in the century, and has been rehabilitated by the Bureau of Reclamation and is operated and maintained by the Lewiston Orchards Irridation District. Reservoir 'A' Dam impounds an offstream reservoir (Mann Lake) with an active capacity of 3,000 acre-feet between elevations 1808.2 and 1750.0; the dead storage volume below elevation 1759.0 is considered negligible. The present exclusive flood control volume of 300 acre-feet is between elevations 1810.3 and 1808.2.
