摘要

The project examined a very important group of children who are infected withHIV. The study sample included children with hemophilia who received repeated infusions of clotting factor concentrate derived from pooled human plasma prior to routine screening of the blood supply. This prospective longitudinal study examined changes in neurological and neuropsychological functioning, physical growth and development, and immunological status in hemophilic children exposed to HIV, and in matched control groups of HIV-negative children with hemophilia and siblings of children with hemophilia.
