摘要

The objective of the study is to fill in some of the gaps in knowledge aboutlabor turnover. A longitudinal data set used in the study is the Survey of Income and Program Participation (SIPP), conducted by the Bureau of the Census. Factors affecting access to employee benefits also were analyzed by using the May 1988 Current Population Survey (CPS) employee benefits supplement, a household survey conducted by the Census Bureau. Regression models were developed to analyze the significance of factors affecting whether a worker is offered three specific fringe benefits--health insurance, pensions or sick leave.
