摘要

The loads produced by waves, current and wind are of rudimentary importance in design and operation of either fixed or floating offshore structures. The scope of the presentation is to provide an overview of the calculation procedure of environmental design loads due to current and wind i.e. the mechanisms by which they originate hydrodynamic and aerodynamic loads in the most conventional used methods (empirical methods) of load calculations.
