摘要

The Southwestern Pennsylvania Heritage Preservation Commission, a federally appointed organization within the Department of the Interior, coordinates the America's Industrial Heritage Project. The commission is the catalyst for the project's partnership effort to preserve, interpret, and promote the sites and stories of America's industrial heritage in southwestern Pennsylvania. Through the conservation and commemoration of these sites and stories, the commission will spark economic development in the region.
