This study aims to determine the law of judicial review on the management udof city parks by the Department of Hygiene and as the embodiment of urban green udspace based on Law Number 26 Year 2007 on Spatial Planning in Surakarta.udThis research includes studies prescriptive normative law to examine the udmanagement of city parks by the Department of Hygiene and as the embodiment udof urban green space based on Law Number 26 Year 2007 on Spatial Planning. udLegal data types used in legal research by the authors is the primary legal udmaterials and secondary legal materials. Legal materials collection techniques or udthe use of library materials document study and interviews. Interview done by udclarifying to sources or respondents. In this case the employee Department of udHygiene and Surakarta who understand the management of city parks. Analysis of udlegal materials with syllogisms and inte rpretation methods using deductive logic. udWith the premise is mayornya Regulation Legislation. While the minor premise udthat management of urban parks by the Department of Hygiene and as the udembodiment of green open space which do not meet the minimum threshold has udbeen mandated by legislation and the absence of more specific regulations udgoverning the green open spaces.udBased on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that udthe legal aspects in the implementation of spatial planning as a m anifestation of udurban green space based on Law Number 26 Year 2007 on Spatial Planning is udstill too broad. So necessary to have regulations that specifically regulate green udspace. Management authority green space in the city of Surakarta is structurally udunder the responsibility of Department of Hygiene and specifically in charge of udthe management of the landscaping Landscaping and Street Lighting Division. udOpens to green space management is the responsibility of the Department of udHygiene and is on green belt and city parks.
