This project investigates the relation between adolescents and cemeteries, with focus on how to strengthen this relationship. The idea originated because we feel there is a lack of connection between younger generations and the church as an institution and therefor also the cemetery culture in Denmark. We found this subject interesting, as it is not a well discussed area and several sources points out that we as a society have to deal with this. The project has focused on making its own investigations. In addition, the project is supported by empirical data that equip us with the relevant knowledge, to help us solve our problem. Based on our hypothesis that the majority of the younger generation feel a lack of connection to the cemetery culture. We have tried to create a physically and mentally space where there isn't an imposed behavior, which has resulted in a possible design solution.
