摘要

The purpose of the study was to determine the most effective and efficient integrated control packageudin suppressing coffee berry borer (Hypothenemus hampei Ferr.). The study was conducted in growers??? coffee plantationsudin Desa Pana, Kecamatan Alla, Kabupaten Enrekang, South Sulawesi and laboratories at the Department of PlantudPests and Diseases, Hasanuddin University, Makassar, from November 2010 to April 2011. The study consisted ofudfive treatments of control packages, namely: 1) Pruning and sanitation, 2) Pruning and application of B. basiana, 3)udPruning and the use of Hypotan trap, 4) Pruning, sanitation, application of B. basiana, and the use of Hypotan trap,udand 5) Local growers??? cultivation practice. Our results showed that package 4 (Pruning, sanitation, application of B.udbasiana, and the use of Hypotan trap) was the most effective in suppressing the percentage of crop damage caused byudcoffee berry borer. Although economic analysis result showed that package 1 (pruning and sanitation) was the mostudefficient among all treatments with B/C value of 2.87
