Latar Belakang dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kinerja pegawai divisi produksi CV Wira Utama, hal tersebut ditandai dari menurunya penilaian kinerja pegawai.Fenomena tersebut harus segera ditangani karena pegawai merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat menentukan keberhasilan suatu perusahaan. Kompetensi pegawai dan karakteristik pekerjaan merupakan salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kinerja pegawai.udTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: memperoleh gambaran mengenai kompetensi pegawai, karakteristik pekerjaan, kinerja pegawai, pengaruh kompetensi pegawai terhadap kinerja pegawai divisi produksi CV Wira Utama, pengaruh karakteristik pekerjan terhadap kinerja pegawai divisi produksi CV Wira Utama danpengaruh kompetensi pegawai dan karakteristik pekerjaan terhadap kinerja pegawai CV Wira Utama. Objek penelitian ini adalah pegawai divisi produksi CV Wira Utama ,Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah kompetensi pegawai dan karakteristik pekerjaan sedangkan variabel tidak bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah kinerja pegawai. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan ialah deskriptif dan verifikatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah explanatory survey Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah regresi linier berganda dengan alat bantu software computer SPSS 21.0. udDari hasil penelitian terhadap pengujian hipotesis dapat diketahui sebagai berikut:kompetensi pegawai dan karakteristik pekerjaan memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan tingkat korelasi sangat kuat. Kompetensi pegawai memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Dan karakteristik pekerjaan memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini direkomendasikan sebagai dasar untuk dilakukannya penelitian lain mengenai kompetensi pegawai dan karaktersitik pekerjaan terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan indikator dan objek yang berbeda. ududThis study is designed on the basis of employee’s low performance on production division CV Wira Utama.This case was marked by the decrease of employees’ performance evaluation. Those phenomena should be immediately handled due to the fact that employee is one of company’s triumph determinants. Competence of employee and job characteristiccan be combined to increase the employees’ performance. udThe purpose of research are to obtain the description competence of employee, job characteristics and employees perfomance, the influence ofcompetence of employees to the employees perfomance on division of production CV Wira Utama, the influence of job characteristic to the employees perfomance division of production CV Wira Utama and the influence of competency of employee and job characteristic to the employees perfomance on division of production CV Wira UtamaudThe object of this research was employees on division production CV Wira Utama. The independent variable in this research was competence of employee and job characteristic. Moreover, the dependent variable was employees’ performance. This research used descriptive and verification and this research used explanatory survey. The analysis in this research used linear regression by SPSS 21.0 as a tool. udThe result of this researchwhich is supposed to test the hypothesis reveals that was competency of employee and job characteristic have influence positive concerning employees’ performance in very strong correlation.Competence of employee has influence positive concerning employees’ performance. Additionally, job characteristic has influence positive into employees’ performance. According to the result of this research, the writer expect this research will be a basic research to be done the other research regarding competence of employee and job caharacteristic to the employees’ performance with different indicator and object.
