Industri tape ketan di Kabupaten Kuningan mengalami permasalahan keberhasilan usaha dalam tiga tahun terakhir yang meliputi peningkatan dalam akumulasi modal atau peningkatan modal, jumlah produksi, jumlah pelanggan, perluasaan usaha, perluasaan daerah pemasaran, perbaikan sarana fisik, dan pendapatan usaha. Dalam menghadapi keadaan ini banyak cara yang dapat dilakukan dalam memecahkan masalah keberhasilan usaha. Dari beberapa faktor yang membentuk keberhasilan usaha terdapat faktor keterampilan yang salah satu dimensinya yaitu kemampuan teknis yang secara dominan mempengaruhi keberhasilan usaha. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran keberhasilan usaha pada industri tape ketan di Kabupaten Kuningan, bagaimana pengaruh kemampuan teknis terhadap keberhasilan usaha pada industri tape ketan di Kabupaten Kuningan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah explanatory survey dengan sensus sebanyak 37 responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linear sederhana dengan alat bantu software komputer SPSS 21.0. berdasarkan hasil penelitian secara keseluruhan nilai perhitunngan yang diperoleh melalui regresi linear sederhana bahwa kemampuan teknis yang dilakukan pengusaha tape ketan di Kabupaten Kuningan berpengaruh positif sebesar 28,1% dan 71,9% dipengaruhi oleh factor lain dengan korelasi rendah terhadap keberhasilan usaha. Hal ini harus lebih ditngkatkan guna mewujudkan usaha yang lebih berkembang dan sukses. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa kemampuan teknis bukan faktor utama yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan usaha pada industri tape ketan di Kabupaten Kuningan. udud;---The industry of fermented glutinous (Tape Ketan) in the District of Kuningan has undergone problems of business success in the last three years which covers an increase in the accumulation of capital, numbers of production, numbers of customers, business extention, market extention, facility improvement, and operating revenues. there are various ways that can be done in facing these obstacles. among all factors shaping the business success there is skill factor which one of its dimension is technical skill. technical skills is dominantly influencing the business success. this study aims to find out the idea of business success in the industry of fermented glutinous in the district of kuningan and the influences of technical skills towards this business. the method used in this study is explanatory survey with 37 respondents. linear regression was used as the research technique by employing SPSS 21.0 computer software. the finding shows that the value calculation gained through simple linear regression indicates that the technical skills done by the business people in the district of kuningan positively influences the business success in a low correlation. this matter is needed to be improved to develop a successful business. in conclussion, it can be said that technical skills is not the main factor that influences the business success in the industry of fermented glutinous in the district of kuningan.
