摘要

This research identified, by a case study, the perception about organizational values, purposeand vision among members (civil servants) of a public institution of education and comparedthose identified ideas with the formal mission, vison and values statements. Due to theirdifferences in nature, those ideas required three different methodological approaches andtools. To identify the values, a quantitative approach was used; to identify de purpose of theorganization, interviews and, to identify the vision, a creative method based on projectivetests – in this case, drawing. The outcome of this research partially confirmed the initialhypothesis that those ideas within mission, vision and values statements where not sharedamong the members of the organization.
