摘要

The purpose of this study is to compare China with Japan concerning adminisrative system and urbanized degree. To carry out this purpose, we use statistics of population and land use in China and Japan. The results of this study are as follows; (1) There are two types in Japanese cities and three types in Chinese cities. (2) On fundamental conditions to recognize as a city, there are differences between China and Japan. (3) Japan is moving ahead on urban Land-use in comparision with China. (4) On distribution of cities, there are same regional umbalances in both naitions. (5) These regional umbalances trend for correcting in China and trend for expanding in Japan.
机译：这项研究的目的是在行政制度和城市化程度方面比较中国和日本。为此，我们使用中国和日本的人口和土地使用统计数据。这项研究的结果如下： （1）日本城市有两种，中国城市有三种。 （2）中日之间在承认一个城市的基本条件上存在差异。 （3）与中国相比，日本在城市土地利用方面正在前进。 （4）在城市分布上，两个国家都有相同的区域失衡。 （5）这些地区失衡的趋势是在中国进行修正，而在日本则在扩大。
