摘要

In this paper, a research of value theory and a criticism on Marx`s labour theory of value by Beatrice Webb in her“ Economic Theory of Karl Marx”in 1886 and “On The Nature of Economic Science ”, appendix D of her My Apprenticeship in 1926 are exercised, and the theoretical significance of her conclusions is considered. It can be assumed then that it is very important point that she insists as origin of exchange value, not manual labour of Ricado and ‘homogenous human labour “Congelation of indifferentiated expenditure of vital energy”’ , abstract labour, of Marx , but the relation of ‘human faculties and desire in their various degrees of intensity and in their different variety of form’ .
