В статье речь идет о том, что высшая школа не использует свой потенциал агента формирования гендерной культурыudэгалитарногоudтипаudвudобществе,udтакudкакudприudотсутствииudявныхudдискриминационныхudпрактикudгендерныеudстереотипыudиudценностиudтранслируютсяudчерезudскрытыйudучебныйudпланudвуза.udВudработеudэтоudрассмотреноudнаudпримереudгендерногоudсоставаudнаучно-педагогическихudработников высшей школы. (The idea of the article is that higher (tertiary) school does notuduse its potential of being an agent in forming gender culture of anudegalitarian society. In the lack of open discrimination practicesudand experiences gender stereotypes and values are transmittedudthough the concealed higher school curriculum. The authors of theudarticle describe this situation with an example of the gender balanceudamongudtheuduniversitiesudstaffudanduddrawudtheudfollowingudconclusions:udInudtheudpostudandudqualificationudgenderuddistributionudofudhigherududschooludsciencesudfiveudimportantudtendenciesudwereuddiscovered:udrapidudfeminizationudof science, caused by men’s mass leaving it as anudunworthy and underpaid sphere of professional activity; uneveruddistribution of women and men among various branches of sciences;udtheudincreaseudofudmen’sudquotaudamongudscientistsudinudimprovingudqualificationudlevelsud(scientificuddegrees),udobservedudbothudwithinudeach individual branch and in science in the whole. The two-steppedudsystem of scientific degrees causes additional bars for professionaludpromotion of women; with the same scientific and qualificationudleveludwomenudareudnoticeablyudofteneruddelayedudamongudholdersudofudlowerudscientificudranksudandudtheyudareudlessudrepresentedudamongudholdersudofudhigher scientific and academics ranks; women are much lessudrepresented at the highest stages of administrative and managingudstaff on higher educational institutions, mainly concentrating onudexecutive posts.udReflecting in public and individual mind, these stereotypes, onudthe one hand, set an expectation level from a girl-student/a youngudfemale-researcher ; on the other hand, they determine a level ofudher claims in qualification and career plans. At the same time,udwith the lack of obvious discriminative practical experiences, audvicious circle, reproducing the gender asymmetry both of scienceudand professional and public activity, is arisen. Revealing the peculiaritiesudofudsuchudaudreproductionudwilludenableudtoudshowudtheudwaysudofudachievingudgenderudequalityudinudtheudnationaludhigherudschooludtakingudintoudaccountudhistoric,udsocial,udeconomicudandudculturaludspecialudfeaturesudofuditsuddevelopment.)
