The system test optimization device, in particular for an aircraft, comprises a first display module (DISP1) which displays a list of tests executable by systems, a selection module (SEL) allowing an operator to select a set of tests to be executed from the list of executable tests and transmitting this set of tests to an optimization module (OPT) which determines, according to the conditions of execution of the tests to be executed, a sequence of tests representing an optimized execution of the set of tests to be executed, the test sequence being displayed by a second display module (DISP2) for an operator, a decision module (DEC1) generating either at a first signal if the operator validates the test sequence , or a second signal if the operator cancels the test sequence, and a control module (CONT) which, if the first signal is generated, commands the execution of the test sequence by each of the systems, and generates results s of their execution.
