The invention relates to, and describes a magazine for temporarily storing at least one packaging sleeve group (G) containing multiple upright packaging sleeves (P, P', P'') folded flat and for loading an unfolding device, downstream of the magazine, for the packaging sleeves (P, P', P''), comprising a feed side (1) feeding the packaging sleeves (P, P'), a removal side (2) arranged after the feed side (1) in a direction of transport (T) of the packaging sleeve group (G), and at least one transport unit (3) movable forwards and backwards along the direction of transport (T) in order to transport the packaging sleeve group (G) from the feed side (1) to the removal side (2). In order to ensure uniform supply of the downstream unfolding device and thus increase the productivity of the downstream filling machine, and so as to also provide a structurally simple and at the same time inexpensive design of the magazine, which in addition can be applied in a versatile manner to different packaging sleeve sizes, according to the invention the transport unit (3) has at least two oppositely arranged slide elements (16), each bearing at least in part against different sides of the packaging sleeves (P, P', P'') in order to align the packaging sleeves (P, P', P'').
