One aspect of the invention relates to a method for manufacturing a ferroelectric memory (401) comprising a first electrode (201), a second electrode (203) and a layer of active material of hafnium dioxide HfO 2 < / sub> disposed between the first electrode (201) and the second electrode (203), the method comprising the following steps: - a step of depositing a layer of first electrode; - a step of depositing the layer of active material ; - a step of doping the layer of active material; - a step of depositing a layer of second electrode (203); the method being characterized in that it comprises a step (105) of sub-microsecond laser annealing of the layer of doped active material.
