A method of controlling a light fixture (101) comprising one light source (103), 3 different color filters (123C, 123M, 123Y). The color filters (123C, 123M, 123Y) can be arranged in a number of positions in relation to one another and in relation the light. The method comprises the steps of: - receiving (230) a color parameter (Cp) relating to the position of the color filters (123C, 123M, 123Y) and a color temperature parameter (CTp) relating to the color temperature of the light - obtaining (240) a resulting color (Cr) based on color parameter (Cp), the color temperature parameter (CTp) and spectral characteristics (Fc, Fm, Fy) of the filters; - obtaining (250) color filter position parameters (CPc, CPm, CPy) indicating the position of the filters (123C, 123M, 123Y) based on the resulting color (Cr), the spectral characteristics (Fc, Fm, Fy) of the filters and spectral characteristic of said light; and - arranging (260) the color filters (123C, 123M, 123Y) in relation to one another and in relation to said light based on color filter parameters (CPc, CPm, CPy).
