To provide therapeutic agents and methods for urethral stricture that can avoid restenosis in a minimally invasive transurethral endoscopic procedure in urethral stricture treatment.SOLUTION: Provided is an urethral stricture therapeutic agent characterized by containing at least a hydrogel formable polymer and having a storage modulus at 10°C of 50 Pa or less and a storage modulus at 37°C of 100 Pa or more. Provided is an urethral stricture therapeutic method comprising at least operations of cooling at 10°C or less and injecting the urethral stricture therapeutic agent to the endourethral surface subjected to incision in a transurethral endoscopic procedure as well as of keeping it in the endourethral surface at the temperature equal to or higher than room temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: None
