PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bridge girder erection method for a multiple span continuous bridge which allows for the construction of a bridge girder comprised of PCa segments using an erected girder shorter than a conventional one.SOLUTION: An erected girder 30 is arranged so that the rear end of the erected girder 30 is supported by a rear overhanging girder 11 positioned at an erection span Svia a support 33, and the middle part of the erected girder 30 is supported by a front column head 4F positioned at the erection span S(Figure 6 (A)). Thereafter, a PCa segment 5 is arranged using the erected girder 30; then a front overhanging girder 12, a next span Srear overhanging girder 11, and a girder connection part 16 are constructed. A bridge girder 3 is then spanned across a rear bridge pier 2B and a front bridge pier 2F (Figure 6 (B)-(C)). Thereafter, the erected girder 30 is moved so that the rear end of the erected girder 30 is supported by the rear overhanging girder 11positioned at the next span Svia the support 33, and the middle part of the erected girder 30 is supported by a front column head 4Fpositioned at the next span S(Figure 7, Figure 8).
