Provided are a movable platform (1000) and a ranging device (100). The ranging device (100) comprises a base (10), two support brackets (30), a ranging module (60), a scanning module (40), and a plurality of flexible connection assemblies (50). The two support brackets (30) are both fixed to the base (10). The ranging module (60) is used to emit a light pulse. The scanning module (40) is used to change the transmission direction of a light pulse and then emit the light pulse. The scanning module (40) and the ranging module (60) are arranged spaced apart. The scanning module (40) comprises a scanning housing (41). The two support brackets (30) are respectively located at two opposing sides of the scanning housing (41).
