The display panel (110) comprises a first gate driving circuit (121) and a second gate driving circuit (122) for respectively controlling all gate lines in a scan display area, the driving method comprises: when a first preset condition is met, controlling the first gate driving circuit (121) to be in a dormant state, and controlling the second gate driving circuit (122) to be in a working state at the same time; and when a second preset condition is met, controlling the second gate driving circuit (122) to be in a dormant state, and controlling the first gate driving circuit (121) to be in a working state at the same time.
