A header tape arrangement 20 for a curtain 10 (Figure 1), the arrangement is suitable for causing a wave effect in the curtain i.e. pleating; the arrangement has a base strip 22 for attaching to the curtain; the arrangement includes a first strip 24 having a plurality of spaced apart first attaching segments 40, and a plurality of first pocket segments 42 between the first attaching segments; Each of the first pocket segments have a pair of spaced apart first fastening points 44a, 44b; the first pocket segments are folded and the pairs of first fastening points may be fastened so as to cause the wave effect when the base strip is attached to the curtain. The fastening of the fastening points forms loops in the first strip. The fastening may be done by sewing. A second strip may be including comprising its own attachment segments, pocket segments and fastening points. The attachment segments may be used to hook the curtain onto a curtain rail. The base strip may be stitched onto the curtain.
