A bicycle includes a frame including first and second segments, such as a stem 64 and a fork 68, pivotable relative to each other between a folded position and an unfolded position. A magnet 72 is fixed relative to the first segment 64. An electromagnet 70 is fixed relative to the second segment 68 and disposed in a magnetic field of the magnet when the frame is in the folded position. A controller is configured to power the electromagnet to repel the magnet to unfold the frame. A memory and processor may be provided to activate the controller and may be operable by a remote wireless device such as a mobile phone.
