摘要

A water saving mechanism with a high flow volume in low water pressure for a tap comprises a flow regulator 20 having a normally open passage 51; at least one side passage 52 at the inner side or the outer side of the flow regulator 20. The side passage 52 is separated from the normally open passage 51. The flow regulator 20 can overcome a reset force from a spring 30 to slide between at least a first position and a second position under the water pressure. The water flowing area of the side passage 52 when the flow regulator 20 is situated in a first position is larger than that when the flow regulator 20 is situated in a second position. The present invention has the advantages that the normal open passage is open constantly. That the water flowing area of the side passage when the flow regulator is situated in the first position is larger than when the flow regulator is situated in the second position. The flow regulator can overcome a reset force to slide between at least a first position and a second position under water pressure, so that when in low water pressure, the side passage is open to achieve high flow volume.
