The present invention relates to a compensation device comprising: - a duplicating unit (34) of an audio signal (Saudio) to obtain two identical audio signals, - a first channel (36) for processing the first audio signal to obtain a signal compensated audio (Compensated), the first channel (36) comprising three filters (PN1, PN2, PN3) each suitable for applying a variable gain over a predetermined band of frequencies of the first audio signal, and - a second processing channel (38) of the second audio signal comprising: • a unit (42) for determining the amplitude of the sound envelope of the second audio signal, and • a unit (44) for calculating and modifying the variable gain of each filter (PN1, PN2 , PN3) as a function of the amplitude determined and of the characteristics of the filter.
