The invention relates to a device for extracting residual bad odors caused when using a toilet. It consists of a WC block (1) having 3 orifices (6) (7) (11). In the reference (6) is introduced a clean water inlet pipe. In the reference (7) serving as housing are introduced an extractor motor (8), a shutter valve (9) and the silentbloc (10) acting as a noise attenuator (20db). In the reference (11) is introduced a pipe whose purpose is to evacuate organic waste and waste water. When the user crosses the threshold of the place of comfort an infrared cell (20) supplies the circuit (12) to operate the air extractor motor (8) and the opening of the shutter (9) . The bezel (3) and the cover (2) fixed by the hinges (5) are positioned on the WC unit (1) and connected to the piping (14) via the flexible sheath (4). The device according to the invention is particularly intended for extracting residual unpleasant odors in a place of comfort or any other place presenting malodorous nuisances.
