The quick mount / dismount shower faucet includes a housing (1), wherein the housing (1) includes a housing body (2), a protective housing assembly (3) and an elastic clamp band (4); the protective housing assembly (3) encloses a side surface of the housing body (2); the elastic tightening band (4) is attached to an inner side surface of the protective housing assembly (3); and one side of the housing body (2) is provided with a mounting groove (20) in a position corresponding to the elastic tightening band (4) and a bottom of the mounting groove (20) abuts against the elastic clamp band (4) to allow the protective housing assembly (3) to engage tightly on the housing body (2).
