Separation layer made of plastic suitable for separating two or more particularly aqueous liquids entering the separating layer from the top into different waste water systems, where the separation shaft (10) has a shaft tube (11) in its upper part for the flow of liquids, a horizontal separation floor in the built-in condition (14),which is located in the duct pipe (11) at a distance to the top end of the duct pipe, at least two inlet openings arranged separately in the partition floor (14), 12, 13) for the respective incoming fluids, means of closing one of the inlet openings and connecting pipes (17, 18) for the flow of liquids in the lower part of the separation shaft, each of these connecting tubes (17, 18) in the inner part of the separation shaft is electrically connected to each of the inlet openings (12, 13);a continuous pipe connection exists within the partition shaft (10) between at least one inlet opening (12) and the connecting tube associated with that inlet opening (17).
