Abrasive to produce a washing effect on a textile, the abrasive having or consisting of:a rope (10) comprising a first end section (12) with a first end rope (14), a second end section (16) with a second end rope (18), and at least one knot (20), comprising at least one knot (20) between the first end section (12) and the second end section (16) of the rope (10),with at least one node (20) a first intersection point (22),at the first end section (12) from a first loop (24),which is formed by the node (20), protrudes, and has a second intersection point (26), at which the second end section (16) of a second loop (28) appears,which is formed by the node (20), appears, where a length L1 of the first end section (12) is determined by a first distance between the first intersection point (22) and the first rope end (14) and a length L2 of the second end section (16) is determined by a second distance between the second intersection point (26) and the second rope end (18),the length L1 of the first end section (12) L1 to 3.0 cm and the length L2 of the second end section (16) L2 to 3.0 cm, with a thick T of the rope 0.5 cm T to 3.0 cm.
