[Task] Providing a method for producing a process engineering substance which is capable of easily forming various concave / convex patterns on a substance material. [Solution] A method for producing a process engineering substance, comprising the steps of: producing a substance ; Printing a first sizing agent containing a foaming agent on at least a portion of the fabric material; and pressing the printed fabric with a heated metal plate to foam the foaming agent. The method for producing the process-engineering substance can furthermore comprise a step of printing a second sizing agent, which contains a coloring agent, onto the substance material. The method for producing the process engineering substance can further comprise a step of sublimation transfer to the substance material.
