The manufacturing processes for making lightweight soles from composite materials include a supercritical foaming step in which a water dispersant and TPU particles are sequentially added into an autoclave and carbon dioxide and nitrogen gas into the autoclave, after which the mixture in the autoclave is mixed to create the foamed To produce TPU particles; a mixing step in which the foamed TPU particles are mixed with a PU adhesive, a part of the PU adhesive covering the foamed TPU particles so that the surfaces of the foamed TPU particles do not touch each other; a clamping step in which a TPU film is spread in a cavity of a mold for shoes, a foaming sole material is filled in the cavity; a baking step in which the clamped mold for shoes is placed in an oven; and a final product step of removing the mold for shoes from the oven to obtain a composite material sole covered with PU and having the expanded TPU particles combined with the TPU film.
