The present invention relates to a mixture of substances and to a method for producing this mixture of substances and the use of the mixture of substances with phosphorescent properties, comprising at least one phosphorescent pigment which is distributed in a translucent plastic. The invention has for its object to improve a mixture of substances and a method for producing a mixture of substances of the type mentioned. In particular, inexpensive manufacture should be provided in a simple manner. The object is achieved by using a superabsorbent polymer as the plastic.
