A method of improving media properties during interactive web real-time communications (WebRTC) sessions using session initiation protocol (SIP) endpoints (18), comprising: intercepting a WebRTC initiation token (60) by one Media redirection agent (14) of a WebRTC client (12) running on a computer device (16); generating a SIP endpoint WebRTC token (66) based on the WebRTC initiation token (60); sending the SIP endpoint WebRTC tokens (66) to a remote endpoint (50); and establishing an interactive WebRTC session between the remote endpoint (50) and a SIP endpoint (18) based on the SIP endpoint WebRTC token (66).
