FIELD: weapons and ammunition.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of separable tray of small-sized, medium-sized and large-size caliber sub-caliber projectile with penetrating core. Disclosed is method of separating tray (2) for subcaliber projectile (3), wherein in separating pan (2) there are bionic structures (5, 6) formed and specially made in the process of making separating tray (2) using 3D technology. In 3D printing, structure of segments (2.1, 2.2) of separating pan is formed in layers, wherein the geometrical parameters of separating tray (2) or segments (2.1, 2.2) of the separating tray have three-dimensional parameters. 3D technology is an SLS-technology of laser sintering or cocoon 3D plaiting, wherein bionic structures are formed by means of operations with a spinning spinneret. In separating tray (2), bionic structures (5, 6) are made according to preset dimensions, shape and/or volume, specially made or created according to specified place and quantity. Bionic structures (5, 6) are made in the form of honeycombs, braces, chambers, spherical cavities, as well as their combinations. Material of separating tray (2) is light metal, metal and/or polymer.
