FIELD: hygiene.;SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of human life support, namely to oral hygiene and dental cleaning. Proposed powder composition for occupational hygiene of oral cavity contains sodium bicarbonate, calcium carbonate, a flavouring agent, hydrophilic silicon dioxide and hydrophobic silicon dioxide, wherein the composition contains particles sized 20–50 mcm or 50–90 mcm or 20–90 mcm. To produce composition, wt. %: sodium hydrocarbonate 75-87.5, flavouring 1.0, calcium carbonate 10–23.75, hydrophilic silicon dioxide 0.05–1.0, hydrophobic silicon dioxide 0.2–0.5. Method for preparing the powdered oral hygiene composition involves using sodium bicarbonate, calcium carbonate, a flavouring agent, hydrophilic silicon dioxide and hydrophobic silicon dioxide in said amounts. Sodium bicarbonate, calcium carbonate and flavouring agent are mixed, after which they are ground in a mill. After grinding, the powder mixture is sieved to 20–50 mcm or 50–90 mcm or 20–90 mcm. Hydrophilic silicon dioxide is added to the sifted composition and mixed until homogeneous mass formation, then hydrophobic silicon dioxide is added and mixed to form a mono-particular layer. Obtained powder composition is sifted on a corresponding sieve to remove excess hydrophilic and hydrophobic silicon dioxide. Increased abrasiveness due to introduction of calcium carbonate reduces time of hygienic cleaning of teeth. Improved flowability of the powder composition and antifriction properties provided to it ensure continuous operation of the doctor in the process of occupational hygiene of the oral cavity without distracting it for cleaning the Air Flow apparatus. Separation according to fractions provides optimum use of powder compositions depending on the nature and specificities of the plaque on the patient's teeth. Powder composition with particle size of 20–50 mcm is used to remove soft coating and to enamel teeth, perform cleaning of metal structures and bracket systems; powder composition with particle size of 50–90 mcm removes dense deposit, smell of smoker and coffee lover; powdered composition of 20–90 mcm provides for removal of plaque of medium density.;EFFECT: technical result is increased flowability of composition, improved antifriction properties, reduced time for hygienic cleaning of teeth in comparison with prototype.;2 cl
