The inventive utility model relates to electrical engineering, namely to current sources based on a battery consisting of open-type nickel-hydrogen accumulators (NWAOT), which can be used not only as an effective, durable and reliable trap of free hydrogen of the external environment, for example, inhabited / uninhabited underwater or aircraft, but also as an alkaline fuel cell (SHTE) for an environmentally friendly way to generate energy in the absence of oxygen. The technical result aimed at achieving the utility model proposed for protection is to increase the efficiency of utilization of hydrogen entering the external air environment, mainly underwater vehicles, while generating electricity through recyclable hydrogen without the use of oxygen. The specified technical result is achieved in that a hydrogen trap based on a battery from n open-type nickel-hydrogen accumulators interconnected into an electric circuit, where n ≥ 1, each of which contains a housing in which positive and negative electrodes are placed, as well as a matrix electrolyte wherein each of the n nickel-hydrogen batteries is arranged to provide electrical contact in a cassette socket provided for it, made in the form of a frame structure with a dovetail connection, trended for each of the sockets, an oxide-nickel tube electrode formed by extrusion is used as the positive electrode of the nickel-hydrogen battery, and a hydrophobized hydrogen electrode is used as the negative electrode, while the battery case serves as the collector for the positive electrode, and the battery the central zone of the housing is a steel nickel-plated perforated sleeve through which through holes to the surface of the negative electrode provide hydrogen is supplied, while the negative electrode and the separator made of polymer material are tightly wound tightly on the perforated sleeve, the total diameter of the winding of the negative electrode and the separator corresponding to the inner diameter of the thrust bearing on which the perforated sleeve rests, and the lower level of the winding is flush with the end surface of the thrust bearing made from a polymer material, in order to prevent the evaporation of the matrix electrolyte and to ensure the free exit of hydrogen I use sealing assembly consisting of a steel sleeve, resting on a perforated sleeve, and fitted on it a sealing ring and for protection from mechanical impurities used wire filter and cover. 3 s.p. f-ly, 3 ill.
