The design feature of the proposed device is that it is capable of counteracting the self-targeting of the attacking SD by means of acting on the GOS SD of directional radiation of a spatially modulated imitating active noise with a modulation frequency corresponding to a frequency steering rudder contour UR, formed in the process of the joint functioning of each pair of neighboring, identical in lighting characteristics The technical result achieved by using the proposed design of the PPE of an aircraft is to increase the operational reliability of the operation of the PPE as part of the aircraft’s onboard equipment by providing the necessary energy limit from the aircraft’s onboard power plant, which is especially important when protecting aircraft with a high level of internal thermal (IR) radiation under conditions of simultaneous multidirectional attacking action of SD with IR GOS.
