The utility model relates to petroleum engineering and can be used when assembling column heads during the construction of oil or gas wells. The disadvantages of the known keys are the lack of a proper tool head for interfacing with parts (flanges) of the column head of the wellhead equipment, which necessitates work with using hand tools (chain keys, crowbars, etc.). A utility model of the key contains a plate with radially made carriers in which fangs are mounted, with the possibility of replacement. A housing is installed in the plate, into which a sleeve is screwed on the left-hand thread, with a locking internal thread in its upper part. The shear pins are mounted radially in the body of the casing and bushings. To actuate the key, the fangs are installed in the corresponding holes on the flange of the column head. Then turn on the mechanized rotator and reinforce the threaded connection between the flange and the nozzle of the column head. In case of violation of the operating mode of the mechanized rotator and exceeding the regulated torque value (Mkr), the pins are cut off along the neck of the notches and the forced screwing of the flange by the mechanical rotator is stopped. After stopping the operation of the mechanized rotator, the key is removed from the flange and the pins are replaced for subsequent operation of the key.
