Disclosed is an automatic pairing method of a transmission/reception period of a WIFI-based wireless video transmission system. The automatic pairing method performed by the wireless video transmitter includes: when power is applied, identifying a basic character included in a first service set identifier (SSID) constituting wireless access information of the wireless video transmitter; Retrieving wireless video receivers broadcasting a second SSID including the same basic text as the identified basic text among a plurality of wireless video receivers existing within a communication range of the wireless video transmitter; Sorting the searched wireless video receivers in order of high signal strength, and selecting a wireless video receiver having the highest signal strength among the sorted wireless video receivers; Extracting a random code from a second SSID constituting radio access information of the selected wireless video receiver; And performing automatic pairing with the selected wireless video receiver using the extracted random code.
